Artist Spotlight - Scott Ivey

He started out playing youth groups with his high school band...

"Straight up rock... That's what we were." Remembers Scott.

"We had a lot of fun with a lot of volume... We went from youth groups to bars to clubs to showcases to festivals... etc. The Robert Barnes Band was a good time, but it wasn't really 'about' anything."

The search for deeper meaning eventually led to a band break up, but Scott continued on... His solo effort, "Come Back", became popular with a wide variety of fans, but never gained any real traction.

In the midst of becoming a dad twice over, Scott decided to pack up his performance hat and go another route. "I felt like, and I still believe, that God was calling me. When I got the call to move to California, we were beside ourselves..."

Scott became a worship pastor at Bayside Church in Roseville California, and after a few years of exciting ministry, ended up settling down in Texas.

After making the big move, Scott and Alison had their third child, and when it came time to make some tough life decisions, they decided to trust God with the direction they felt Him leading.

He packed up his family once more, moved from Houston to San Antonio, and is now the Worship Pastor for Crosspoint Fellowship Church in Schertz, TX.

Scott released a worship EP in the summer of last year called “Sound of Hope”.

This EP is just the first installment of a bigger worship project that has been in the works for several years. Scott intends to do so much more with this project than just spread new worship music around. Fund out more about this project at www.soundofhopeproject.com.

Most recently, Scott and his worship team “crosspoint creative” have released an original single called “Unashamed”, and just left the studio last month from recording another song “The Main Event” that was released on Easter of this year. The live music video for Unashamed can be found here https://vimeo.com/113947683

“I’ve had a new creative awakening this year” Scott says “On top of writing and leading for Sundays, and playing out in the community, I’ve taken on a challenge like nothing I’ve ever done before. It’s called the 52 song challenge, and it’s awesome! One song a week for the entire year. So far I haven’t missed a deadline. It has forced me to think outside the box, and opened up some exciting possibilities.” Check out the weekly uploads at: https://soundcloud.com/scott-ivey-2

  1. As is the case in all states where sports betting is authorized, bettors 토토사이트 must be at least of|no much less than} 21 years of age. Ambiguous wording across the bill’s call for a 10% tax on sports betting proceeds could have, partially, played a job in the vote as some residents might have believed they have been to bear the tax burden. FOX Bet’s utilization of its sports network expertise and wagering specials, which have been notably strong throughout soccer season, has made it a go-to choice in states like New Jersey and Pennsylvania. As one of many more trusted names in the betting and leisure world, veteran and novice online sports gamblers can by no means go mistaken with Caesars Sportsbook.
